Aus Gischt und Wogen
Out of Swell and Foam
The waves rear up to catch me. Shapes are turning in constant
change and it seems, as if there’s nothing but the steadily up
and down of the backs of the waves. They crash in above me,
carry me with them away to new shores.
In my Bachelor’s work, I’ve been playing with water waves,
their unsteady but always continual rhythm, their brief pauses
and tumultuous bursts, their structure and colour and what
they pull and carry away.
A collection about risking and embarking, drifting and getting
carried away, dissolving and becoming one, the beauty of the
instant, the evanescence and the longing.
